In Seattle…finally.
I didn’t make it out of Philly Thursday. I was continuously delayed, reserved a hotel in Atlanta, and then they canceled all outbound flights, I had to try and cancel my hotel reservations and reschedule flights. They told me there was no way I could fly out of Philly to Seattle until Saturday night, Sunday morning. I was leaving Seattle Monday night. No point.
I was resourceful. I paid a classmate $20 to drive me to Baltimore. I did make it out of Baltimore yesterday. I had the most intense security screening ever…that involved my taking off my bra. Say what? Are my boobs WMDDs?
I am in Seattle now.
With my best friend.
Watching zombie and CG porn.
Eating sushi.
And maybe seeing Eddie Izzard!

have such fun in Seattle! I spent many years there, and if you have any free time, I highly recommend walking around Greenlake. that’s my very favorite thing to do there, I never go visit without doing it. I have plenty of other suggestions (go to rom mai thai on broadway, the rosebud on pike … ) but I’m sure you’ve got plenty of things to do while you’re there. I’m a bit envious, can you tell?
If we have time, we will check it out (although with my leg brace, I don’t know how feasible walking around a lake it)…but we are going to Babeland tomorrow and am SUPER excited about that (and the tea shop next door).

the rosebud bar is right by babeland! see if you can hit that place up, $2 well drinks. I used to get whiskey sours all the time. and I refuse to tell you how many times I’ve fucked in the rosebud’s bathrooms. so don’t ask. :)
