HNT: Fishnets can kill!
Sorry I am late today; blogger was having issues, and then I couldn’t decide which of these I liked better, so had to post both.
I love legs, especially in fishnets. These are called “pothole” fishnets, and almost caused my demise two years back. I was driving to the after party from a roller derby bout, wearing a short skirt and these fishnets (what else?). I was in a wooded, unlit area I was unfamiliar with, and so I was driving slowly (thank goodness) and trying to figure out where the hell I was, and if I was going the right way. I almost missed my turn, so I turned my wheel sharply to the left…and my fishnets got caught in my steering wheel cover (it has the bumpy thingies on it). They’re pretty strong fishnets (none of the cheap $5 ones for me…I ruin them too fast) and they gripped my wheel in place; I couldn’t turn it back to the left!
I went off the road and into some bushes before I was able to hit the break. LUCKILY, both my car and myself were fine (minus some shrubbery in my “grill”…if you would say a dodge stratus has a grill…). However, I had to rip my fishnets to get them off the steering wheel (I tied them back together like a true punk rocker), and then it took a few minutes to back my car out of the greenery and back onto the road. Finally, I was back on my way again…with a blanket over my legs.
And boys and girls (over 18 of course!), let this be a story to you that lingerie and fishnets can indeed by dangerous, and even life threatening!

I’ve never seen pothole fishnets. They are so cool and you make them look even better!
