I'm just the opposite. I love the lower setting because it feels sooooo deep and intense. The higher setting it almost too much for me. But I"m just thrilled that you like it. And I like that the lower setting is gentler than the Hitachi - sometimes the Hitachi is too intense for me. (Especially right after I've shaved - ooh does it irritate me then!) And I like how the Wahl can be so targeted - the attachments enable you to focus on a smaller area than the Hitachi. Can you tell I'm in love with the Wahl?
