Guess what?

I’m two years old!

Ok, so not me specifically, but this blog, Sexuality Happens, sure is. Granted, I started it just to start another blog…I had myspace and livejournal already, but I was going to make it a derby blog (did I mention Essin’ Em is also my derby name?). But then, rather quickly, it morphed into a sexuality blog (note, not a sex blog…although I tend to group myself with sex bloggers).

As part of my blogiversary celebration (in addition to me hopefully getting to celebrate with F. Perhaps with Grasshoppers?), Vera at ForYourNymphomation.com has graciously donated some awesome swag for YOU, my loyal readers.  What, you may ask, do I have sitting on my dining room table, just waiting to be won? Glad you asked!

Now, I suppose you’re probably wondering how you might be able to win said awesome toy cases, yes?

I’ve thought long, and thought hard on this.  Panthera Pardus won the limerick contest (#3), with Lili Desi being a very close (2 vote!) second (#8).  I had 15 entires, and at least twice as many votes.  So now I need something to beat that.

This contest has a 2 week participation period, because of what it requires. I will be accepting entries, via email, at essinem at gmail dot com, until NOVEMBER 1st, 11:59pm, MST.  Two full weeks.

Now, what, you may ask, do you need to do?

Look through my older entries. You can find some of my favorite/most poingant/sugasm top picks/fleshbotted entires under “Best Of” at the top of the page. You can also look through my archives. Not all the tags are accurate from when I switched from Blogger, but the categories are pretty much up to date. Find an entry that speaks to you. It can be erotica that turns you on, a news story that makes you feel passionate, a rant that makes you angry or sad, some thoughts that made you think. SOMETHING that reached out to you (something must have…otherwise, why are you reading this blog?).

Re-read the entry.  Rekindle those feelings it brought up in you. And now? The fun part.

ART TIME!  Anything you want art wise. Make me something. Your reaction.  If it’s the Under the Covers story that turned you on or made you smile, for example, you could:

*Take a picture of you in bed, under the covers, looking sexy and nerdy

*Make a pet alligator out of sculpty

*Write a song (and record it to send it to me) about bloody anuses and spoons that are too big

*Perform (and video to send to me) a re-inactment of the awkwardness of the situation

Etc.

Photography, sculpture, painting, performance, poetry, music, etc…anything that is an artistic reaction to one of my blog posts.  Please send me your name, email, blog URL (if you have one – not required), and either a picture (the picture being the entry itself, or a picture OF your entry if it is 3-D), a song, a youtube video (or just a video), a poem, etc. Whatever your artistic entry is. AND THE LINK TO THE POST THAT INSPIRED IT.  To essinem at gmail dot com.  By November 1st, 11:59pm MST.  If you created something and want me to have it (I LOVE art work done by friends), let me know, and I’ll give you my address.

I know this seems like a big deal for toy bags.  But a) I do things big…you already knew that, b) I’ll write you a little letter, S.W.A.K for good luck, to go in your toy bag, and c) I’ve been around 2 years. Doesn’t that inspire you to do SOMETHING artistic to celebrate???
