Silicones are great for the lasting power, how little you need to use, and how they don't taste, generally, but in my experience (working at an adult shop for a year and trying them all), I don't like the cleanup. Needing to actually use soap and water to scrub it off afterwards makes me always reach for a water-based first in the heat of the moment. Except, that is, unless I'm fisting, when getting things slippery is far more important than the cleanup.

Am I the only one who avoids silicone-baseds because of that?

Also, for the record, adding water to silicone-baseds slicks them up again, too.

I've tried the WET Strawberry and agree. I also have a funny story about it. We had a nearly new bottle of it, only used once for a handjob. I somehow forgot to put it away and my youngest kid found it and decided to cover himself, the floor and my bed with it. My entire upstairs smelled like strawberries for a week. It has a nice scent :)

"Water based lube is awesome too. When it starts to dry out, often times people add more and more, and then it becomes a gross, sticky mess. Honestly, all you need is to add more water to reactivate it. "

That is a very useful thing to know. That I've been reading sex blogs for 6 months and not come across this until now is also pretty astounding.
