David's Bridal is a private business and this franchise was operating in a state which specifically banned same-sex marriage AND domestic partnerships in 2006. If they went along with your expectations, they'd be making a heroic, unprecedented stand in favor of something that, sadly, would be more likely to lose them customers than gain them new ones (all the retarded conservatives saying 'I ain't goin' there if dey let dem gays marry.' It would be GREAT if they did do that, but sadly in the current climate - especially on Co. - it's a huge leap to expect them to. I would go along with Jerry - 'vote' with your money, as you suggested, as that's the ultimate democracy and the only one they'll listen to. I think you really have to pick your battles.
