The zertek is kind of expensive, at least compared to things like the generic benadryl, but you can get a 90 day supply at WalMart for $18. So I guess not SO bad. If you do end up getting a wheelchair, get one from one of the sports lines. They're smaller, lighter and "zippier". You'll be able to get yourself around more easily. I actually have friends who CAN walk, but use a chair because it's just so much easier, quicker and less painful for them to get around. Another thing, some people who are in chairs get authorized for new ones about every year, so you may be able to pick up a "lightly" used one on the cheap if your insurance won't cover it at that point. Just replace the seat pad. Because ew.
