Don't waste your money on cheap "vanilla" bondage gear. Especially one where you're going to throw away half the pieces.

It's a good idea, but you can do better. Go to Home Depot and get four eight foot pieces of chain plus eight quick links. Total cost, maybe $30.

Now put 'em to use.

Method One: Use the quick links to attach one end of each chain to the feet on the bed frame, top-left, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-right. Pull the other ends up and onto the bed.

Bingo. One VERY secure very quick spread-eagle restraint system that can be attached to your own better quality cuffs. Easy on, easy off. Chain length can be adjusted based on where you attach the quick links.

No feet?

Method Two: Take the eight-root chains, quick link the ends to together to make two 16-foot chains, then slide them under the mattress with the ends pulled back around the sides and over the top. Put one set at the head of the bed and the other at the foot.

Method Three: Similar to two but use the links to make all four pieces into a big X, exactly like the Under the Bed Restraint System.

Method Four: Again, similar to two, but this time cinch each chain tight and link them together on TOP of the bed as well, making two very tight loops that hug your mattress.

Now you have a different system with many, many attachment points for both cuffs and rope. It's also one where, once attached, the hands and feet can't come together, nor can they move further apart.

Method Five: Like four, but a cross. One loop goes across the middle of the bed from left to right, while the other goes from top to the bottom. This gives you a different set of options.

Method Six: Move the horizontal chain in method five up and down the bed, and see what other bondage positions suggest themselves.

Four pieces of chain are cheap, durable, versatile, and much more mentally satisfying than four thin nylon straps.

Besides, it's always nice to have a few chains around... (grin)

My bedskirt certainly is helpful :)

And yes, you can switch the cuffs out -- you just need some sort of metal connector thing (99 cents at home depot -- I use both snap hooks and carribeaners).

Lady gold - no worries. Thanks for the link love!

So you can use different cuffs with it? That would be awesome to be able to change them out. I just want to make sure I understand completely.

these have always looked like fun. though, ropes tied to the legs of the bed have worked okay so far - they are a bit more complex.

as for subtlety, i highly recommend a bedskirt! in this case, you would have to be sure to put the restraints, then skirt, then mattress. it does a great job of hiding whatever kink you may have hanging out under your bed, and it looks so *traditional* - isn't that cute.

The best part is that you can first start with the ties loose, and then later punctuate or emphasize a point by pulling them tight.

Got mine. How luscious are they? Oh my...

I don't have a problem with the cuff's, as there is usually cunnilingus ahappenin' when they are on and so a bit of roughness at the wrists is not an issue for me.

P.S I love your site and have a link on my main page for it. Hope that's ok. Hope that doesn't cross any blogger guide lines or sum such, as I didn't actually ask first. xoxo
