I love flowers of all varieties. When I lived at a lower elevation i grew the most amazing roses, my favorite being pink edged variety of peace rose. I also love tulips, hyacinth (omg they smell heavenly), daffodils, petunias, bouganvilla, and vermillion bells planted with yellow lilies. In a bouquet I love colorful spring and summer mixes with stargazer lilies and snap dragons blended in.

I am akinkydichotomy on twitter and have tweeted the contest plus I’m posting a link on Fetlife under that same ID

I love lilies and orange blossoms – just wait until the orange trees are in bloom up in Phoenix. Other than monsoon season, orange blossom season is my favorite time to live in the desert.

Is each of those “post a link” things supposed to be a separate entry? Are we only supposed to do one, or are we supposed to do all of them? Can you tell I like strict protocol? (; I will post to all those places and say so now. And if I need to make more entries, I will do that, too. :D

I love tiger lilies, mostly because they remind me of my grandma – and, of course, they are beautiful and brightly colored. Snapdragons are also some of the coolest-looking flowers of all time.

My favorite flowers are Lilacs! They just smell so good, it’s a very relaxing smell for me.

My favorite type of flower is the rose. Not really that original I suppose LOL but when I think of flowers I instantly think of roses and picking them late at night from huge bushes with my friends in the summer. We used to pluck the petals off and make wishes, some of them came true :D, and sometimes we’d wear them in our hair on our way to the park :D thanks ^_^

Oh flowers *smiling* I have been living on my own for 2 years now and can you believe this past weekend I finally got myself a bamboo stick (plant) I always thought with my own place I would have a nice big plant or two and that I would have fresh colorful flowers once a month. Being unemployed sucks.

I can’t really say I have a favorite flower they are all so beautiful in their own way. Orchids, lilies they are all beautiful. But if I had to big one. I would say Sunflowers. I am amazed by how tall they grow one in NH driving through I saw a big area that was full of SunFlowers and I was Amazed by it, I wanted to get off the car and just work my way into the middle of them.

I’m a simple soul. I love the daisy. It has n scent, but there is something sweet and innocent and beautiful about a simple white daisy with a sunny yellow middle. Scent wise I love roses, for just something outlandish and spectacular I love the bird of paradise. But I will always love the simplicity and innocence of the Daisy the best.

Hi, I am @seksi on twitter and will also tweet to enter the contest.

My favorite flowers are Rafflesia, which I have been blessed to see in the wild in Sumatra, Indonesia. I also like hoyas, the lotus (for spiritual symbolism) and the translucent white parasite Indian Pipe, Monotropa uniflora.

    Thank you!

OMG, I love an arrangement of white lilies, white roses, and stephanotis [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephanotis] mixed with gorgeous deep greenery. Each of these flowers are so understated in their beauty, but so incredibly elegant. Elegant simplicity . . . it simply does not get better than that . . .

I also love a simple cluster of Stargazer lilies [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stargazer_lily]. Their blazingly passionate beauty speaks for itself. No other adornment needed.

My favorite flower is a lilac :) They’re one of the only flowers that I really like the smell of, and I think they’re really pretty too. Roses, lilies, daisies, orchids, sunflowers, they’re all pretty, but I don’t love the smell as much. Plus, my favorite color is purple most of the time. I also REALLY like my roommate’s cactus that is blooming right now. I think it’s really cool that the flower it had today was a tiny black dot a few days ago, and that it opened within two hours and then folded back in on itself. I left my video camera running pointed at it today, need to edit the video/speed it up to see if there’s any visible change in the video over 2 hours!

This looks perfect! I had one like this for a few years and it died. My favorite is the Lilly of the Valley. Not only is it my birth month flower, my grandmother also used to sing me a song about them when I was growing up :) I can’t believe I talked about a vibrator and my grandmother in a few sentences!

I’d have to say that my favorite flower would be roses (with a twist, lol). While I like all colors of roses, my favorite would have to be blue roses. There aren’t any found in nature, but some people from a Japanese company called Suntory were able to make some a while back through genetic engineering. They’re really pretty :)

Here’s a couple links to see what I’m talking about:
