Congratulations to Lola for winning our fancy little giveaway. Don’t know what we are talking about? Backseat Boohoo and I did an awesome giveaway for a copy of Hard Love and How to Fuck in High Heels.

Basically, we asked people to tell us what they liked about one (or more) of their identities.  There were some amazing answers/comments (click on the link above to see them all), but both of us loved what Lola had to say:

The thing I love about myself is that I enjoy the labels people try and attach to me. Despite that I’m a sex-hungry, polyamorous, disabled, bisexual girl. That sounds like a mouthful, doesn’t it?

But, I am all those things and more. I’m also an internet porn girl and phone sex operator. I do porn because I love sex, and I try to show other wheelchair users a healthy and kinky sex life.

I’ve seen far too many articles on disabled people paying for sex, it makes me sad. A lot of my disabled friends STILL feel they have to  pay or in some cases put up with really abusive/neglectful partners.

To show others that I’m more than just a disabled woman, is worth the mouthful of words that truly describe who I am. The looks on people’s faces when they try to figure out how someone in my “condition” can do so much is just too priceless.

She clearly not only loves herself and her identities, but has made space for herself, and is helping others to learn about and love themselves as well.
